SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
The Schools Ethics Life Repair programme is geared to reach those students that have been involved in instances of acts of bullying, violence, drug abuse, ill discipline, violating the school code of conduct, lack of moral judgement, stealing, disrespect etc.
Why An Ethics Programme
Ethics serves as the backbone of society, providing the essential framework for schools to thrive and prosper.
As the standard of individual personal ethics diminishes within the school environment, discernible shifts occur in the moral fabric of the institution. This is manifested through heightened aggression, violations of the school's moral code, a pervasive lack of motivation, increased instances of substance abuse, and an overall decline in respect.
When instances of repeated unethical behavior among students go unaddressed, the repercussions extend beyond the immediate transgressors.
The behavioral and motivational impact ripples through the ethical and hardworking student body, potentially eroding the positive culture cultivated within the educational institution.
Clear and well-defined boundaries, coupled with consequences for negative behavior, are imperative for sustaining a conducive academic environment.
Without these crucial components, the scholastic performance of students may suffer, highlighting the vital role that ethical standards play in fostering a thriving and academically enriching school atmosphere.
Whilst counselling is able to address issues around trauma, addiction, depression, stress, anxiety and bullying, it cannot address and correct the unethical behaviour.
The Process
The School's Ethics Life Repair Programme offers flexible delivery options, either directly through our facilitators or via collaboration with teachers, parents, or school counselors. The program spans a 2-4 week period and is conducted in a written format.
Maintaining confidentiality is paramount in our approach, and schools retain the autonomy to decide whether to share students' personal details with us. It is crucial to recognize that when an individual struggles to take responsibility for past unethical behavior, communication breakdowns with those around them often ensue.
Our commitment extends beyond direct participants; we offer support to all involved parties collaborating in the delivery of the Ethics Life Repair Programme. This collaborative effort ensures a comprehensive and inclusive approach to fostering ethical growth and personal development within the school community.
